The new Opportunities GY website is live. The website provides information, advice and guidance around a variety of employment related issues, such as job searching, training, volunteering, housing, health, and other barriers to employment. The website also gives information on both local and national organisations that can provide local residents in and around Great Yarmouth with further support in these areas.

Opportunities GY are also responsible for a series of events aimed at providing information on opportunities in the Great Yarmouth area. The Opportunities events are attended by representatives from all sectors - private, public and charitable, - and offer residents the chance to interact with potential employers, as well as gain more general information, advice and guidance around the areas of employment, volunteering and training.

Opportunities GY is supported by a variety of local providers including Comeunity,
Voluntary Norfolk and the GYLSP. If you’d like some further information, or if you represent a local charity organisation or service provider, and would like your information added to the website, please contact Ben Sampson on T: 01493 845924 or E: info@opportunities-gy.org.uk
